700 Days of Damage
Over 625,000 children have been deprived of education, with more than 95% of Gaza’s schools damaged or destroyed, leaving most children without formal education for nearly two academic years.
Some reports estimate close to 1.9 million people, or around 90% of the population, displaced, many repeatedly.
According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, about 97% of the water extracted from Gaza’s sole aquifer is unfit for human consumption.
